Help A to Z provides online help for many library resources and services.

Internet Access There is only one computer workstation available for community visitors. Printing and scanning services are not available for community visitors.

  • The single computer workstation is located on the first floor, near the Information Resources Center, and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Community visitors using the computer workstation must yield access to any member of Xavier University with academic priority, including faculty, staff and students, if asked by a University staff member to do so. There may be certain times during the year when the computer workstation is unavailable to community visitors.

Print & Audiovisual Collections may be browsed in the library or accessed online through the XPLORE Library Catalog. See also Circulation Services.

Reference Assistance:

Subject Guides group library resources by subject which help you to find articles in research databases, books, journals, media, websites, a librarian liaison and context-specific help in a specific academic discipline.

xu.tutor, the library's online tutorials, will help you define a research topic, optimize search strategies, identify useful sources, evaluate websites, prevent plagiarism, and find library materials.
