company and industry news and information. It is a fully integrated resource that brings together company profiles, brand information,
rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies, and periodicals. It includes Ward's Business Directory and
numerous other directories and encyclopedias, as well as Market Share Reporter (search for a company, select the Rankings tab,
and then select Market Share). It is produced by Thomson/Gale and the user interface is provided by InfoTrac. This subscription
permits only two simultaneous users.

Business Source Complete (some from 1886-present; updated daily; much full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help;
XLinks) provides indexing and abstracts for the most
important scholarly business journals. It contains far more peer-reviewed, business-related journals than any
other database currently available. It contains searchable cited references for 1,200 journals and 20,000 detailed
author profiles. It covers all subject areas related to business, including management, marketing, economics,
finance, accounting, and international business. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial
data, books, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research
reports, product reviews, industry profiles (Datamonitor reports), market research reports,
country reports,
company profiles (including Life Science Analytics (LSA) company profiles from the MedTRACK database),

Cochrane
Database (updated quarterly; systematic reviews full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains systematic
reviews providing high quality evidence for people providing and receiving care.
It includes citations to controlled trials, effectiveness reviews, methodology
register, economic evaluations of health care interventions, and healthcare technology
assessments. It is produced by the Cochrane Library and the user interface is provided by Wiley InterScience. Evidence-Based Practice Tip: Click Advanced Search. Under Restrict Search by Product uncheck All of Cochrane and check either Cochrane Reviews or Clicnial Trials. All articles in this database should have some level of evidence.
Historical Statistics of the United States (most from 1800s-1990s; full-text essays & introductions; downloadable data)
provides quantitative data on population, work & welfare, economic structure & performance, economic sectors, and governance & international relations. It covers social, behavioral, humanistic, and natural sciences including history, economics, government, finance, sociology, demography, education, law, natural resources, climate, religion, international migration, and trade. It permits users to search and download data as well as create customized tables, spreadsheets and graphs. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Cambridge University Press.
LexisNexis
Statistical Publications & DataSets (exportable data; users guide) includes datasets from many sources, including the US government, international organizations, and the private sector. It covers all subject areas, including banking and finance, criminal justice and law, education, energy resources and demand, food and agriculture, government and politics, health and vital statistics, housing and construction, industry and commerce, international; labor and employment, natural resources and environment, population and income, prices and cost of living, stocks and commodities, and transportation and travel. Users can search datasets by keyword; browse datasets by subject or source; display datasets by trend, map or ranking; and output datasets in print, PDF, delimited, Excel or SAS formats. Datasets can be limited by date and geographic area (country, state, county). Years available varies by dataset; for example, births 1999-present and breast cancer 1973-present. It also features datasets currently in the news, such as crude oil price, 30-year fixed mortgage rate, airline on-time arrival rate, campaign contributions for both Obama and McCain, gasoline prices, the prime rate and the unemployment rate.
