Borror
Laboratory of Bioacoustics Digital Sounds (XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital
Media Center and contains about 30,000 recordings of over 1,000 species of animals. It includes over 10,000 digitized recordings of songbirds,
primarily warblers, tanagers, and sparrows. Real Media Player or Real Media Alternative is required to play these recordings. The Borror Laboratory was founded
by the late Dr. Donald Borror, Professor of Entomology and Zoology at The Ohio
State University. It is produced by the Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics and the user interface is provided
by OhioLINK.
LANDSAT 7 Satellite Images (updated every 16 days) is part of OhioLINK's
digital Media Center and makes Ohio-based satellite data available for download or
web viewing. Several views are available, including infrared and true color composite.
Urban growth, natural resource loss, and crop health are a few of the environmental issues
that may be monitored with this type of satellite data. It is produced by the U.S. Geological
Survey and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Statistical Publications & DataSets (exportable data; users guide) includes datasets from many sources, including the US government, international organizations, and the private sector. It covers all subject areas, including banking and finance, criminal justice and law, education, energy resources and demand, food and agriculture, government and politics, health and vital statistics, housing and construction, industry and commerce, international; labor and employment, natural resources and environment, population and income, prices and cost of living, stocks and commodities, and transportation and travel. Users can search datasets by keyword; browse datasets by subject or source; display datasets by trend, map or ranking; and output datasets in print, PDF, delimited, Excel or SAS formats. Datasets can be limited by date and geographic area (country, state, county). Years available varies by dataset; for example, births 1999-present and breast cancer 1973-present. It also features datasets currently in the news, such as crude oil price, 30-year fixed mortgage rate, airline on-time arrival rate, campaign contributions for both Obama and McCain, gasoline prices, the prime rate and the unemployment rate. Surgery, Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas, Williams' Obstetrics, Hurst's The Heart, Goodman

Dolphin Embryo Digitized Slides (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center. It
contains scanned images of histological sections captured using a digital camera
connected to a microscope. The collection consists of many sections per single
embryo. Each embryo is identified by a name, such as LACM 94674. A section number follows the
name, e.g. LACM 94674-100 is section 100. The specimens are examples of
Pantropical Spotted Dolphin (Stenella attenuata) and were
made available by the Los Angeles County Museum. It is produced by the Digital Library of Dolphin Development at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). The user interface is provided by OhioLINK.
Forestry Image Collection (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center. It
contains a collection of forestry photos dating back to the early 20th century. Images portray trees, cultivation, care, and the effects of human activity. The photographs were taken in Ohio but other states and countries are also represented. It is produced by the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station at the Ohio State University. (FAQs about educational use of images) compiles over 50,000 high-quality images spanning all of internal medicine and derived from Current Medicine's series of illustrated atlases. Each image is accompanied by detailed and informative text written by over 2,000 contributing experts. images.MD is updated as new atlases are published or existing atlas series are revised. Reproductive Physiology Animations (XLinks) is part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center. It
contains a collection of learning modules on human reproduction. Some of the animated modules are accompanied by sound. To view the modules in the sequence, Browse by Title. These animations are played via Macromedia Flash Player, which is pre-installed on most web browsers. Users may download files to insert into a PowerPoint presentation or a Blackboard course.
