Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) is a celebration of the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors come from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The Library’s collection contains a variety of books, media and journal articles related to Hispanic culture and history.


The Library subscribes to a variety of databases that provide journal articles and full text resources about Latin America, the Caribbean, and Hispanics/Latinos in the US.

Books & Media

Xavier’s XPLORE library catalog and the OhioLINK Library Catalog contain many books and DVDs dealing with Spanish language topics and culture. You can limit by language – Spanish in order to find resources written in the Spanish language.
