Exporting References from HeinOnline
- At one of the articles you want to export, click Save/Bookmark in the dark blue area above the article.

- Your window will refresh. Click the Save to MyHein Bookmarks button.

- Your screen will refresh and display a message about creating an account.
- However, an account is not necessary. Just click the MyHein tab.

- You are taken to MyHein Saved Bookmarks.
- Check the bookmarked article you want to export to RefWorks.
- Click the down arrow in the Options select box and click Export to RefWorks.
- Click the Submit button.

- A new window will open. click the Export to RefWorks button.

- You may be promted with this message. Click the Yes button.

Importing References into RefWorks
The RefWorks User Login page will open
- Enter your login name.
- Enter your password.
- Click Login.
NOTE: If you are in an off-campus location, you will be asked for a Group Code. Call the reference desk at 513 745-4808 to obtain this information.

The RefWorks Import page will open
- RefWorks will prompt with Import completed when it is finished.
- Click View Last Imported Folder to view your references.

RefWorks will display references in the Last Imported Folder window.

Click the FIND IT @ XU icon to see if an article is available in full-text, print or microform format and to submit an interlibrary loan request.
