It covers all aspects of physical education and sports, including dance, physical fitness, health education, physical therapy, sport law, kinesiology, motor learning, recreation, standardized fitness tests, sports equipment, sport business and marketing, coaching, athletic training, sport sociology, and sport psychology. SPORT Discus (some 1800-present; much full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) covers sport, physical fitness, exercise, sports medicine, sports science, physical education, kinesiology, coaching, training, sport administration, officiating, sport law & legislation, college & university sport, disabled persons, facility design & management, intramural & school sport, doping, drugs, health, health education, biomechanics, movement science, injury prevention rehabilitation, physical therapy, rehabilitation, nutrition, exercise physiology, sport & exercise psychology, recreation, leisure studies, tourism, allied health, occupational health & therapy, and public health. It indexes international journals, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, dissertations and theses. It provides full-text for more than 415 journals, many with no embargo, and some dating back to 1985. Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Center (2000-present; all full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a database of masters' theses and doctoral dissertations submitted by graduate students matriculating at higher education institutions in Ohio. It is produced by participating Ohio colleges and universities and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK. Education Research Complete (much full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) offers the largest and most complete collection of full-text education journals. It covers areas of curriculum instruction as well as administration, policy, funding, and related social issues. It includes the database, Professional Development Collection. ERIC, EBSCO user interface (1966-present; updated monthly; some full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains abstracts and indexing for books (1993-present), ERIC documents and journal articles in education research and practice. It includes descriptions and evaluations of programs, research reports and surveys, curriculum and teaching guides, instructional materials, position papers, and resource materials. It also provides links to the full-text of most ERIC documents from 1993-present. It is produced by the Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC) and the user interface is provided by EBSCO. Business Source Complete (some from 1886-present; updated daily; much full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals. It contains far more peer-reviewed, business-related journals than any other database currently available. It contains searchable cited references for 1,200 journals and 20,000 detailed author profiles. It covers all subject areas related to business, including management, marketing, economics, finance, accounting, and international business. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, product reviews, industry profiles (Datamonitor reports), market research reports, country reports, company profiles (including Life Science Analytics (LSA) company profiles from the MedTRACK database), and SWOT analyses. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition (1984-present; updated daily; much full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides indexing and abstracts for nearly 850 journals, of which 450 are peer reviewed and 550 are full-text. It covers many medical disciplines with a strong focus on nursing and allied health. It includes the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide which provides up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs. LexisNexis Academic (all full-text; RefWorks help) covers a wide variety of subjects including law, government, international affairs, politics, current events, business and medicine. Legal research provides federal and state cases, Shepard's citations, federal and state codes, tax law, Canadian court cases and legislation, law reviews, and patents. Business research allows users to create company profiles, lists, and comparisons, as well as SEC filings, account and country profiles. Company reports can be created and data can be downloaded into spreadsheets. The People tab allows users to find obituaries, elected officials, and industry contacts. It covers anthropology, business, communication, demography, economics, education, ethnic studies, family studies, health policy, history, information & library science, international relations, law, management, nursing, political science, psychology, public administration, rehabilitation, social work, sociology, substance abuse, transportation, urban studies, women's studies. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). Click Change Limits and Settings to search only this database. Click Register or Sign In to save searches and receive search history and citation alerts. It covers nearly 1,400 North American sources, providing information on advertising, economics, human resources, finance, marketing, computers and more. It includes access to the Wall Street Journal and information on over 60,000 companies. The user intereface is provided by ProQuest.

Academic Search Complete (1985-present; updated daily; more full-text; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a multidisciplinary database that covers nearly all academic areas of study, including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language, linguistics, the arts, literature, medical sciences and ethnic studies. It indexes and abstracts over 9,300 journals, many of them peer-reviewed (4,400), and provides full-text for over 5,300 journals. It also includes indexing and abstracts for books, reports, conference proceedings, etc. Searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 journals.
