Annual Bibliography of English Language & Literature (ABELL) (1920-1997; no full-text; RefWorks help; saving searches) is a standard reference work for English studies. It indexes books, articles, critical editions of literary works, book reviews, collections of essays and doctoral dissertations published anywhere in the world. Coverage is international, including articles in languages other than English. It is produced by Chadwyck-Healey under the auspices of the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

African American Song (first half of 20th Century; XLinks; artist list) documents the history of African-American music in an online music listening service. The collection contains a diverse range of genres such as jazz, blues, gospel, ragtime, folk songs, and narratives among others. This release features 12,000 tracks of great historical recordings featuring iconic artists such as the Fisk Jubilee Singers, Memphis Minnie, Blind Willie McTell and Huddie Ledbetter. American Film Scripts (1903-present; all full-text; XLinks) contains 497 scripts by 605 writers together with detailed, fielded information on the scenes, characters and people related to the scripts. When complete, the collection will include more than 1,000 scripts and over 100,000 scenes of life as portrayed in the movies. Users can search by writers, scripts, years, characters, people, and subjects. The showcase provides sample page images from selected scripts. ARTFL - American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language (medieval-20th century; regular updates; all full-text) contains about 2,000 selected texts representative of 150 million French words. It covers classic works of French literature, non-fiction prose, and technical writing. It includes historical bibliographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference works. Genres include novels, verse, theater, journalism, essays, correspondence, literary criticism and treatises. It covers biology, history, economics and philosophy. Asian American Drama (1891-present; all full-text; XLinks) contains 252 plays by 42 playwrights, together with detailed information on related productions, theaters, production companies, and more. About half of the plays have never been published before. It includes selected playbills, production photographs and other ephemera related to the plays. The plays themselves have been selected using leading bibliographies. Users can search by authors, characters, productions, companies, years, plays, theaters, subjects and related resources. Classical Music Library (XLinks) is a streaming classical music service for libraries that enables listening and learning. Browse alphabetical lists of composers, artists, conductors, ensemble, instrument, genre, period and label. Genres include orchestral, chamber, instrumental, stage & screen, vocal & choral, and opera & operetta. It includes images and biographies of artists and conductors, a glossary and definitions of historical music periods. Users can register to create personal playlist folders. Faculty can arrange to have course folders of music selections created for students in their classes. Classical Scores Library (Renaissance-21st century; XLinks) currently provides over 800 scores with plans to build to 8,000 scores, including both public domain and in-copyright items from Boosey and Hawkes. Major composers as well as many lesser known composers are represented, including notable 20th century composers. Score types include full, miniature, piano, vocal, and fragment. Users can search for a score by composer, work/opus number, key, genre, instrument, time period, title, score type, duration, editor, arranger, or publisher. The whole score is viewable and printable as a PDF document. If there is a corresponding track in the Classical Music Library database, just click to listen to the music while viewing the score. English Prose Drama (1600-1900; all full-text; XLinks) is based on plays listed in the New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature that were written or intended for the stage and wholly or primarily in prose. It contains over 1,800 plays by about 400 authors from the renaissance to the end of the nineteenth century. The full text of each drama is included with any accompanying text written by the author and forming an integral part of the work. English Verse Drama (1400-1900; all full-text; XLinks) contains more than 2,200 works by over 500 named authors and over 300 anonymous works, from the Shrewsbury Fragments of the late thirteenth century through the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods to the end of the nineteenth century. A verse drama is generally defined as a work acted on or intended for the stage which is either completely in verse or includes significant verse content. It is based on bibliographic information in the New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature. It contains masques, short dramatic pieces written primarily in verse, selected translations, works written for children and adaptations. It includes any accompanying text written by the original author. It also includes any relevant accompanying text written by the poet.
