Patrologiae Graecae (PG) (Christian Church beginnings-1439; all full-text; XLinks) is a collection of the writings of church leaders who wrote in Greek. Originally assembled by J.-P. Migne, a priest from 1824-1833, PG contains more than 160 volumes of material in Greek with Latin translations relevant to the study of the history of the Christian Church from its beginnings through the Council of Florence in 1439. Periodicals Archive Online (most from first issue to 1995; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides the backfiles of periodicals in ancient civilizations, history, humanities, linguistics, literature, philosophy, religion, and general studies. This collection was updated in June 2009 with an additional 400 titles. Users can search for articles by keyword, author, article title, journal title, language, journal subject, and year. Users can browse journals by title or journal subject. It is produced by Chadwyck-Healey and the user interface is provided by ProQuest.

Perseus Digital Library (some full-text) is an evolving digital library, engineering interactions through time, space, and language. It includes a wide range of primary source materials for study and research in the humanities, including classics, Duke databank of papyri, the English renaissance, Bolles digital archive and history of London collection, Tufts history, Boyles history of science papers, and American memory of California, the upper midwest and Chesapeake. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Tufts University.

Pharos (all full-text; library only database) provides Latin texts and Bible versions.

Philosopher's Index (1940-present; updated quarterly; some full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. It is considered the most thorough index of journal literature on the subject, features author-written abstracts covering scholarly research published in journals and books, including contributions to anthologies and book reviews. The database covers the fifteen fields of philosophy: aesthetics, axiology, philosophy of education, epistemology, ethics, philosophy of history, philosophy of language, logic, metaphysics, philosophical anthropology, metaphilosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of science, social philosophy, and the philosophy of religion. It provides classic and historical plays, along with the works of contemporary playwrights. It covers new editions and translations, and includes descriptive annotations to summarize the plot and indicate musical requirements. It includes one-act plays, pageants, plays in verse, radio and television plays, classic drama, and over 600 monologues from playwrights such as Shakespeare, Aeschylus, Euripides, Moliere, and more. It includes indexing and abstracts for over 700 journals, the full-text for nearly 520 journals, and the full-text for more than 200 educational reports. ProQuest Ancestry Library Edition (multimedia; all full-text; users guide; YoutTube video introduction) is a world-wide genealogy resource that covers North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, China, and more. This database contains billions of records in census data that include birth, death, marriage, military (from the colonial to the Vietnam eras), immigration, emigration, burial, and baptism records, as well as family histories (including Jewish families), court and legal documents, ship lists, phone and other directories, photos, maps and more. Multimedia include family and gravestone photos, postcards, newsreels and more. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by ProQuest. This database is only available on-campus.

ProQuest Congressional (formerly LexisNexis Congressional; selected publications 1970-present; updates vary from daily to annually; all full-text) contains comprehensive coverage of U.S. Congress and covers CIS Index, congressional publications, testimony, bills, laws, regulations, members, committees, an insider's perspective, hot topics, and Internet links. It includes the Federal Register, CIS Legislative Histories, the Congressional Record, and U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. Some information is produced by the Congressional Information Service and the user interface is provided by ProQuest.

ProQuest Digital Microfilm (all full-text; updated quarterly) offers actual page images of three newspapers: the Cincinnati Enquirer (2010-forward), the New York Times, Late Edition, East Coast (2008-forward), and the Wall Street Journal, Eastern Edition (2008-forward). This resource is best used if you know the year and month of a particular article. Users can scroll through page images and search within a particular year, month, and day. It is produced by the newspapers and the user interface is provided by ProQuest Digital Microfilm.

ProQuest Dissertations and Theses (PQDT) (1861-last semester; updated daily; first 24 pages free full-text; RefWorks Help) contains over 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master's theses from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities. More recent dissertations and theses are available electronically and may be downloaded for a fee. Frequently, users may also obtain a copy without cost through the library's document delivery services. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by ProQuest.

ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source (Formerly ProQuest Nursing Journals; 1986-present; all full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks; title list) offers the full-text of 444 nursing and related publications. Special resource links on the home page includes Evidence Summaries, Systematic Reviews, and Best Practice Information Sheets from the Joanna Briggs Institute. There are also cultural competency briefs by religion and ethnicity as well as 75 video training programs. Study paths permit users to view full-text articles recommended by a board of experienced nurse educators on topics relevant to the typical nursing curriculum in practical and registered nursing. ProQuest Statistical Datasets (formerly LexisNexis Statistical; exportable data; users guide) includes datasets from many sources, including the US government, international organizations, and the private sector. It covers all subject areas, including banking and finance, criminal justice and law, education, energy resources and demand, food and agriculture, government and politics, health and vital statistics, housing and construction, industry and commerce, international; labor and employment, natural resources and environment, population and income, prices and cost of living, stocks and commodities, and transportation and travel. Users can search datasets by keyword; browse datasets by subject or source; display datasets by trend, map or ranking; and output datasets in print, PDF, delimited, Excel or SAS formats. Datasets can be limited by date and geographic area (country, state, county). Years available varies by dataset; for example, births 1999-present and breast cancer 1973-present. It also features datasets currently in the news, such as crude oil price, 30-year fixed mortgage rate, airline on-time arrival rate, campaign contributions for both Obama and McCain, gasoline prices, the prime rate and the unemployment rate. PubMed (mid1950s-present; updated daily; some full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides free access to the bibliographic information contained in MEDLINE and OLD MEDLINE. It provides abstracts and indexing for over 5,000 periodicals in medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, health care and preclinical sciences. Coverage is worldwide with extensive links to genomic information. It also includes the MEDLINE subsets AIDSLINE, BIOETHICSLINE, and HEALTHSTAR - search these subsets separately by clicking Topic-Specific Queries and then selecting the subset you want. It is produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the user interface is provided by the Entrez retrieval system of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). Evidence-Based Practice Tip: To limit search results to articles with some level of evidence: Click Clinical Queries in the left sidebar. Select an appropriate Category and Emphasis. Use a broad Emphasis to retrieve more articles. If necessary, select other limits (e.g., English language or date) to reduce retrieval.
