ACCUNET Multimedia Archive/AP Images (1840-present; updated daily; full-text captions) contains over 750,000 of the Associated Press' best photographs, over 380,000 audio files (requiring RealPlayer) and links to 800,000 full-text articles. About 800 photos are added daily and about 200 photos from the historical collection are added monthly. It includes maps, graphs, charts, logos, flags and illustrations, including 2,000 graphics using Spanish instead of English. Audio files, images and other graphics may be downloaded and used for educational purposes. Educators may search by state and grade level for images applicable to a specific state curriculum standard. It is produced by the Associated Press and the user interface is provided by Accuweather, Inc.

Athenaeum Cover Page Athenaeum (1912-1919; all full-text) is a searchable electronic archive of the Athenaeum, a publication featuring original poetry, short stories, essays, text of orations, editorials, news, reports, and graphic artwork by students from St. Xavier College in Cincinnati, Ohio. Intended both as a news and literary publication, this work covering over 1700 pages is of historical significance in reporting the early years of St. Xavier College at the Avondale location. It was scanned in 2010 from microfilm copies. Users can browse individual issues and years or search the full-text content. The microfilm version is housed in the library’s archives. It provides original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news.
