provides scientific papers reported by professional economists in academia, business and the government from around the world. About 500 papers are published each year. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center Digital Images (XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center
and contains digital documents related to slavery, abolition, and emancipation. The
collection includes abolitionist broadsheets, photographs by Matthew Brady,
letters and speeches of President Lincoln and other presidents, and other
historic letters, documents, and pictures. The original documents are found in the Gilder Lehrman Collection of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The digital images were made available through the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. The user

Natural and Alternative Treatments (1997-present; all full-text) provides accurate,
unbiased information on natural health. It contains articles on herbs and supplements, medical conditions, drug
interactions, alternative therapies and homeopathy. Articles
are based on double-blind, placebo-controlled studies and other forms
of meaningful scientific evidence. More than 12,000 such studies are cited in the material, and new studies are
added as they appear. The evidence-based content has been developed and reviewed by a team of
physicians and pharmacologists with the goal of providing reliable information
without exaggeration or misrepresentation. The user

Naxos Music Library
(XLinks) contains the complete Naxos and Marco Polo catalogues of over 165,000 tracks, including classical music, Jazz World and chinese music. It includes biographical information on composers or artists included in the database. Users can select works by composer, artist, period, year of composition, instrument or genre. Playlists can be casily created for educational assignments or for hours of personal enjoyment. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Naxo
Music Library. This resource is limited to 5 simultaneous users and requires Media Player 9/10.
Naxos Music Library Jazz
(XLinks) contains close to 20,000 tracks of jazz from over 1,900 albums by more than 500 jazz artists. It comprises Naxos Jazz and the 22 labels of Fantasy Jazz. Naxos Jazz, along with Prophone and Proprius, provides the world of international Jazz, covering Sweden and Scandinavian jazz artists. US-based Fantasy Jazz has a deep jazz catalogue and offers the best in blues and R&B. Users can select works by
artist, title and catalogue number. Playlists can be
easily created for educational assignments or for hours of personal enjoyment. It is produced by and the user interface is provided by Naxo
Music Library. This resource is limited to 5 simultaneous users and requires

netLibrary eAudiobooks
(more info; XLinks) provides access to a core collection of more
than 1,200 of the latest electronic audio best-sellers, book club favorites, and award-winning authors, as well as
the Pimsleur language collection of easy-to-understand language lessons for beginners, intermediate level speakers
and ESL students covering 39 languages. Users can also find these eAudiobooks in
XPLORE, the library's online catalog. More than one person can access a netLibrary eAudiobook at a time. Users have to create
an account (more info) while at an on-campus
computer workstation in order to download (more info) eAudiobooks to a personal computer workstation at home. An account is also required to create a list of favorites. A maximum of 10 eAudiobooks can be downloaded on your
netLibrary account. eAudiobooks expire in 21 days; however, they can be renewed for an additional 21 days. To renew
eAudiobooks access your netLibrary account. Listening to eAudiobooks on your personal computer workstation requires
Microsoft Windows Media Player version 9 or above, Musicmatch Jukebox v8.2 or above, or Nullsoft Winamp v5 or above.
Once downloaded, eAudiobooks can be transferred (more info) and listened to on a personal portable listening device
(supported portable listening devices). To access, click Audiobooks Center on the netLibrary
homepage. NOTE: netLibrary eAudiobooks are not compatible with the Macintosh operating system or iPod
players.
netLibrary eBooks (all full-text: more info; XLinks) provides access to about 15,000 electronic books on many different topics. The full-text of these eBooks may be browsed for 15 minutes or checked-out and read online for 2 hours. It includes books in the Vault Career Library. Users can also find these electronic books in XPLORE, the library's online catalog. In most cases only one person can access a netLibrary eBook at a time. New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis (library only database) contains the guide to theology and exegesis, 3,000 lexical and topical entries, integrated cross references, and indexes. New Testament Abstracts (1985-present; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks)
is a research and bibliographic aid for scholars of the New Testament and its historical milieu.
Formerly a library only database, this resource is now available over the Internet from off-campus
locations. It covers the New Testament, gospels, acts, epistles, revelation, biblical
theology and the world of the New Testament. It contains 38,000 article abstracts, 1,200 review abstracts, 13,500 book abstracts, and
50 software abstracts. In addition, approximately 800 current books are
summarized annually. It is produced by a partnership between the American Theological Library
Association (ATLA) and the Weston Jesuit School of Theology. The user interface is provided by
EBSCO Publishing.

York Times Historical Database (1851-within four years of the present;
all full-text; updated annually; RefWorks
help; XLinks) contains full-page and article images of every page of every issue,
cover to cover, in downloadable PDF. It includes ads, comics, cartoons, photos,
maps and other graphics. It is produced by the New York Times and the user interface
is provided by ProQuest.

national newspapers; selected full-text for 245 regional U.S. newspapers, 18 international

North American Immigrant Letters, Diaries & Oral Histories (1800-1950; all full-text; XLinks)
contains 2,162 authors and approximately 100,000 pages of information providing a unique and personal
view of what it meant to immigrate to America and Canada between 1800 and 1950. Composed of
contemporaneous letters and diaries, oral histories, interviews, and other personal narratives, the
series provides a rich source for scholars in a wide range of disciplines. The collection is
particularly useful to researchers, because much of the original material is difficult to find,
poorly indexed, and unpublished; most bibliographies of the immigrant focus on secondary research;
and few oral histories have been published. In selected cases, users will be able to hear the actual

North American Women's Letters & Diaries (Colonial -1950; all full-text; XLinks) includes the immediate experiences of 1,325
women and 150,000 pages of diaries and letters. Materials have been carefully chosen using
leading bibliographies, supplemented by more than 7,000 pages of previously unpublished material. The
collection also includes biographies and an extensive annotated bibliography of the sources in the
database. Users can search by authors, source, year, place, historical event and personal event.
