Legal research provides federal and state cases, Shepard's citations, federal and state codes, tax law, Canadian court cases and legislation, law reviews, and patents. Business research allows users to create company profiles, lists, and comparisons, as well as SEC filings, account and country profiles. Academic Search Complete (1985-present; updated daily; more full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) is a multidisciplinary database that covers nearly all academic areas of study. It indexes and abstracts over 9,300 journals, many of them peer-reviewed (4,400), and provides full-text for over 5,300 journals. Women's Work EBSCO eBook Collection (covers 1980-2011; all full-text; tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) incorporates the former netLibrary electronic book collection with thousands of purchased and public domain titles with a broad coverage of topics. Users can preview an e-book online, read a page in depth, jump to specific page, or use links in the table of contents or index to go to specific chapters or topics of interest. Every word in every e-book is searchable. In addition to keyword, users can search by author, title, subject, category, ISBN, publisher, and/or date of publication. Using the Choose Databases feature, e-books can be searched along with other EBSCO databases that provide primarily journal articles. Table of contents can be previewed at the search results display without checking out or opening the e-book. Once the e-book is opened users can search within the book, consult a dictionary, zoom text, ans expand the viewing window. To create notes or add an e-book to a folder requires setting up an account. Output options include print (typically limited to 60 pages), email, and export to bibliographic management software like RefWorks. Also available are citing information for the major citation styles, bookmarking in social networking sites like Facebook, and perma-linking on websites and course management systems. JSTOR (1st issue of 1st volume to 3 years from present; all full-text; Video tutorial; Handout tutorial; RefWorks help; XLinks; title list) provides online access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in a variety of academic disciplines including the arts, business, demographic studies, humanities, social sciences, and science. The multidisciplinary arts & sciences collection was updated in June 2009 with an additional 120 titles, bringing the total number of journals in this collection to 749. JSTOR also includes 8,200 19th Century British pamphlets. Each country's industry report includes a sector overview, leading companies, market outlook, sector performance, and mergers and acquisitions. Advanced searching permits users to target US, international, or private companies.
