The student newspaper reports on key historical events and gives students' reflections and viewpoints on events of national and local importance, such as the death of President Kennedy and the nation at war in the 1940s. The voice of change throughout Xavier's history, the newspaper documents the merger of EdgeCliff College, the effects of coeducation, and the introduction of computers on campus. Most importantly the newspaper chronicles everyday life and general activities, from athletic achievements on the field to Xavier's Centennial celebration. The newspaper collection was scanned in 2007 from microfilm copies. The digital version is provided in searchable PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format). XU Digital Yearbooks (1924-2005; all full-text; general copyright information) contains the full-text of Xavier University's student yearbook.
