African American Experience (African-American origins to the present; all full-text) is a cross-searchable collection of African-American history and culture. This collection includes the African-American Greenwood encyclopedias, other references books, and 67 Negro University Press texts from the late 1700s to the early 1970s. Cochrane
Database (updated quarterly; systematic reviews full-text; RefWorks help; XLinks) contains systematic
reviews providing high quality evidence for people providing and receiving care.
It includes citations to controlled trials, effectiveness reviews, methodology
register, economic evaluations of health care interventions, and healthcare technology

collection, famous people, data tables and definitions. Select from an A-Z list

a detailed map, flag, national anthem, current time, currency converter, recipe
collection, facts and statistics as well as sections on history, climate, the

Demographics Now (all full-text; data) allows users to analyze the demographic and market potential of any geographic area in the U.S. It creates summary, comparison, ranking and radius-based reports by geographic area. Summary reports contain multiple user-defined variables for a single geographic area;

ranking reports rank multiple geographic areas by the performance of specific

LANDSAT 7 Satellite Images ( as of 8/9/12 images unavailable due to hardware failure; updated every 16 days) is part of OhioLINK's
digital Media Center and makes Ohio-based satellite data available for download or
web viewing. Several views are available, including infrared and true color composite.
Urban growth, natural resource loss, and crop health are a few of the environmental issues
that may be monitored with this type of satellite data. It is produced by the U.S. Geological

Mediamark Reporter (all full-text; tutorial
and registration; reading reports),
formerly called Internet Reporter, provides comprehensive data on the uses of various
consumer products, including Teenmark reports. The studies include demographic
information on the persons surveyed, their use of consumer products, and their
use of various forms of advertising, including television, radio, and print media.

Advanced searching permits users to target US, international, or private companies. It provides the ability to export company

Mintel Oxygen (formerly Mintel Reports) offers international market research reports covering US, EU & UK
marketplaces. Each report combines data & analysis of the competitive landscape, market share

(updated weekly; much full-text and other digital content; RefWorks help) serves as a portal for more than 19 million digital resources from over 1,000 organizations developed by the University of Michigan and harvested using OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting). It includes digital items such as books and articles, audio files, images, videos, and datasets (downloadable statistics files). Users can search by keyword, title, creator, subject or resource type (audio, dataset, image, text, or video). Searches yield a detailed and well-organized description of the resource and a
persistent/stable link to the resource itself. Indexed content includes the Library of Congress'

Statistical Datasets (formerly LexisNexis Statistical; exportable data; users guide) includes datasets from many sources, including the US government, international organizations, and the private sector. It covers all subject areas, including banking and finance, criminal justice and law, education, energy resources and demand, food and agriculture, government and politics, health and vital statistics, housing and construction, industry and commerce, international; labor and employment, natural resources and environment, population and income, prices and cost of living, stocks and commodities, and transportation and travel. Users can search datasets by keyword; browse datasets by subject or source; display datasets by trend, map or ranking; and output datasets in print, PDF, delimited, Excel or SAS formats. Datasets can be limited by date and geographic area (country, state, county). Years available varies by dataset; for example, births 1999-present and breast cancer 1973-present. Coverage is worldwide with extensive links to genomic information. It also includes the MEDLINE subsets AIDSLINE, BIOETHICSLINE, and HEALTHSTAR - search these subsets separately by clicking Topic-Specific Queries and then selecting the subset you want.
