Bates On-line: A Visual Guide to Physical Examination (streaming videos) was adapted from the popular film and print series by Barbara Bates. It covers 12 subject areas: abdomen; cardiovascular - neck vessels and heart; female genitalia, anus and rectum; male genitalia, rectum and hernias; neurologic - motor system and reflexes; nose, mouth, and neck; breasts and axillae; cardiovascular and peripheral vascular systems; head, eyes, and ears; musculoskeletal system; neurologic - cranial nerves and sensory system; and thorax and lungs. Bible in English, The (10^th-20^th Century; all full-text; XLinks) contains twenty-one versions of the Bible: thirteen complete Bibles, five editions of the New Testament, two editions of the Gospels, and William Tynsdale’s translations of the New Testament, Pentateuch, and Jonah. The editions were chosen specifically to meet the needs of scholars of English literature and history of the language, as well as those in biblical and theological studies. Protestant, Roman Catholic, and nonconformist editions of the Bible are all included to allow searching and comparison across different centuries and religious beliefs. Bible Works 7 (all full-text; library only database; video tutorials) is a research tool for the study of biblical literature. It includes original language texts, bible translations, lexicons and other reference materials. This resources is located on computer workstations numbers 27, 28 and 29.

Bibliography of American Literature (BAL) (American revolution-1930; all full-text; XLinks) provides nearly 40,000 records of the literary works of approximately 300 American writers. It lists every reprint and variant edition of an author's works, including obscure and fugitive appearances in anthologies, broadsides, and gift books. It also includes details on bindings and physical features of the editions. It originally appeared in print in nine volumes, published for the Bibliographical Society of America by Yale University Press between 1955 and 1991. All nine volumes are fully searchable together. Biography Resource Center (all full-text; XLinks) contains over 330,000 biographies on nearly 220,000 people from nearly 80 sources, such as Contemporary Authors, Encyclopedia of World Biography, Contemporary Black Biography and Religious Leaders of America. It provides quick reference information on 900,00 people in the Complete Marquis Who's Who^®. It covers people throughout history, around the world and across all disciplines and subject areas. It includes full-text articles from more than 250 magazines and 20,000 images. Search for people by birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender. Biological Abstracts (1980-present; updated twice a month; some full-text; RefWorks help; video tutorial; saving searches) indexes and abstracts 5,500 international journals in the biological, life sciences and medical litereature. It also indexes international meetings, review articles and books. It covers agriculture, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, botany, ecology, environment, microbiology, neurology, pharmacology, public health and zoology as well as the discoveries of new organisms. It is produced by BIOSIS and the user interface is provided by OhioLINK.

Biology Digest (1989-present; updated 9 times/yeaar; RefWorks help) provides detailed abstracts written in a nontechnical style for non-biology students and interested non-scientists. It also conveys solid, factual information useful to life scientists exploring areas outside their specialities. It covers botany, environmental science, health, life sciences, medicine and zoology. It is produced by Plexus Publishing and the user interface is provided by OCLC (Online Computer Library Center).

BioMed Central (some full-text; RefWorks Help; XLinks) provides access to 100 online and print-based journals as well as Faculty of 1000, a literature evaluation service. All research articles and most other content are fully and rapidly peer-reviewed. The form of peer review is left to those responsible for the editorial control of participating journals. Authors retain copyright to their articles. It is produced by contributing authors and participating journals, and the user interface is provided by BioMed Central.

Black Drama (1850-present; all full-text; XLinks) contains approximately 1200 plays by 201 playwrights, together with detailed information on related productions, theaters, production companies, and more. The database also includes selected playbills, production photographs, author biographies and other ephemera related to the plays. Books in Print Professional (full-text reviews; RefWorks help) complete, unbiased bibliographic information for over 5 million in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming book, audio, and video titles. An online version of the highly regarded print title, it features over 30,000 full-text previews; 140,000 tables of contents; and over 700,000 reviews of titles by over 200,000 publishers. It also includes cover images, author biographies and annotations. The entry for each book includes the title, contributor, publication date, publisher, country of publication, market, ISBN, item status, binding format, edition, pages, price, also available through, language, Bowker subjects, general subjects, physical dimensions, other formats and additional publisher information. Borror Laboratory of Bioacoustics Digital Sounds (XLinks) is a part of OhioLINK's Digital Media Center and contains about 30,000 recordings of over 1,000 species of animals. It includes over 10,000 digitized recordings of songbirds, primarily warblers, tanagers, and sparrows. Real Media Player or Real Media Alternative is required to play these recordings.
