Finding Books, Videos, Magazines and Journals
XPLORE Library Catalog
(tips & tricks;
RefWorks help; XLinks; video tutorials) is Xavier library's online public
access catalog. It includes all of the library's books, journals, audiovisuals, and microform materials. Search XPLORE
by keyword, author, title and Library of Congress subject heading. If you don't find what you need,
request it online (printable instructions; video tutorial) from
OhioLINK, the combined library catalog of 88 college, university, public, and state libraries
in Ohio.
Use XPLORE, Xavier's Online Catalog, to find books, videos, and journals available at Xavier on the subject of marketing. The best reference sources can be located on the first floor of the library in the area beginning with the call number HC101.A131222 - Business Statistics of the United States and ending with the call number HG4501 - Industry Surveys. OhioLINK
Library Catalog (updated daily; video tutorials; RefWorks help; XLinks) provides
access to more than 48 million items located at 89 college, university, public, and state libraries in Ohio. Users may request items
online (printable instructions; video tutorial) and pick them up in 3 business days at an OhioLINK library of their
choosing. When available there are links to Read (full-text available) and Limited Preview (limited full-text available) at Google Books. It is produced by OhioLINK and the user interface is provided by Innovative
Interfaces, Inc.
Use OhioLINK to request books from all public and private colleges and universities in Ohio. You can request books directly using your XU All-Card. Finding Articles Use selected marketing research databases to find articles on a topic or by an author. Periodicals may be in paper, or microform or full-text. Browse the following selection of marketing periodicals in print or microform formats: Adweek's marketing week To find full-text journals use the Articles not available at the Xavier Library can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Loan. Fill out an article request form (see right menu) for each article that you want, filling in all the information. Print forms are also available at the reference desk. Remember it can take 1-2 weeks to get an article through this service.
