Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities
The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is a national voluntary service organization whose mission is to serve its member institutions: the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. Though each institution is separately chartered by the state and is legally autonomous under its own board of trustees, the 28 schools are bonded together by a common heritage, vision and purpose. OhioLINK is a consortium of 89 college, university, public and state libraries in the State of Ohio. OhioLINK's Central Catalog is the combined online catalog of all libraries participating in OhioLINK and features patron-initiated online requests, a state-wide courier system for the delivery of materials, and pick-up anywhere (patrons can pick up requested materials at an OhioLINk library of their choice. Serving more than 600,000 students, faculty and staff, OhioLINK provides access to 48 million books, millions of electronic articles, 12,000 electronic journals, 140 electronic research databases, 55,000 electronic books, and about 20,000 electronic these and dissertations from Ohio students. Southwestern Ohio & Neighboring Libraries (formerly GCLC - Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium) is a cooperative of area libraries organized to promote library services among and through member institutions.
