Introduction

The University Library has hundreds of print theses in Archives & Special Collections, most dating from the 1950s to the present. These theses will be digitized and stored in Digital Space @ Xavier, Xavier University's institutional repository. Use this form to grant permission for the Digital Collections Team to submit your thesis to Digital Space @ Xavier. Authors who submit materials to the repository must agree to the license included with the following form. This limited, non-exclusive license confirms that you have the rights to deposit these works into Digital Space @ Xavier. It gives Xavier University permission to post them openly on the Web and to take the necessary steps to preserve them. Once granted, you cannot rescind your permission for Xavier University to make accessible and preserve these works.

Under this agreement between you and Xavier University, you retain all rights you had to these items before they were deposited, such as making copies available on other web sites or publishing them in the same form or in a revised form, without obtaining permission from Xavier University. NOTE: Depositing your work into Digital Space @ Xavier may limit your ability to subsequently publish it. Authors who may want to submit their work for subsequent publication are advised to check publishers' pre-publication requirements.
