Description

Illuminated TextXavier University archives serves as the chief historical resource for materials about the University, its people, programs, and culture.

Special collections contains rare books, works of art, manuscripts, and other valuable materials.

Location

Archives is located on the third floor of the McDonald Building, room 309, and special collections is located in a climate controlled room adjacent to archives on the 3rd floor of the McDonald Building.

ACCESS & Hours

Access to the materials in archives and special collections is by appointment only. If materials are to be viewed in the library, it is during hours the McDonald Building is open.

Selected collections have been digitized and are available in either Digital Space @ Xavier or CONTENTdm. See the Digital Collections page for more inofrmation and a complete list of collections accessible in digitized format.
