Services Provided

Learning Assistance provides services to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. Based on the student's documentation of disability,  we recommend services, accommodations and auxiliary aids and the student then selects what he or she needs for specific classes and situations. General services may include:

  • Disability counseling and advocacy 
  • Exam accommodations
  • Textbooks and class materials in alternative formats 
  • Note takers or access to class notes
  • Sign language/C-print interpreters
  • Referrals for diagnostic testing for learning disabilities 
  • Faculty/staff consultation
  • Trained peer tutors
  • Study skills assistance
