Study Abroad
Students may study abroad through one of Xavier's many programs in countries including France, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Japan, The Netherlands, Ireland, Greece, England, Germany and Costa Rica. They may also participate in Xavier's academic service Learning semester in Nicaragua.
Several programs which enable students to travel abroad are offered by the University: Academic Year in France (Fredin Scholarship), Summer Programs in Austria, Bogota, Columbia, and Tokyo, Japan. The Fredin Scholarship is competitive. Summer programs are open to all students.
Through these programs, students earn Xavier credit toward their degree and gain language skills, self-awareness, confidence and personal knowledge of other cultures.
