All new international students are required to participate in the international orientation program. The orientation program is mandatory for all new undergraduate, graduate, exchange, and Intensive English Program students, whether you are arriving in the United States for the first time or you are transferring to Xavier from another school in this country. Therefore, make sure you read the information on the orientation dates and schedule.
All students will be assessed a $35 international orientation fee regardless of their attendance.
At the orientation, we will provide you with important information about classes, health & insurance requirements, and other matters pertaining to your status as an international student in the United States. In addition, students will be able to participate in some optional activities as well as a tour of the city of Cincinnati. In addition, you will have the chance to meet current students from the U.S. and around the world through the Interlink Peer Mentor Program. You can also meet the 2012-2013 Interlink Peer Mentor Team.
