Orientation Information

All new international students are required to participate in the International Student Orientation (ISO) program. The ISO program is mandatory for new undergraduate, graduate, exchange, and Intensive English Program students, whether you are arriving in the United States for the first time or you are transferring to Xavier from another school in this country.  Please review all the orientation information below and make your travel plans to ensure that you arrive on time for your ISO.

All students will be assessed a $100 international orientation fee regardless of their attendance.

At the orientation, we will provide you with important information about campus, health & insurance requirements, and other matters pertaining to your status as an international student in the United States.  In addition, students will be able to participate in some optional activities as well as a tour of the city of Cincinnati. You will also get the chance to meet current students from the U.S. and around the world through the Interlink Peer Mentor Program. You can also meet the 2014-2015 Interlink Peer Mentor Team.
