Admission Process and Policies
International applicants who enroll as freshman apply through one of two single notification admission plan options. Learn more about the two admission plan options. It is important that you review our admission and scholarship deadlines. Click here to review the academic scholarships information.
To apply for admission, submit one of the following applications with the $35 non-refundable application fee:
- Xavier's international application, or
- For the Common Application (paper and online version), download Xavier's supplement to the Common Application. More information can be accessed at Xavier's international application.
Submit a complete set of credentials, including
- An English translation of a current, official secondary school (high school) degree or the diploma/certificate of the highest academic degree earned
- Results from the TOEFL (Xavier's code is 1965). The minimum TOEFL score required for undergraduate admission is 197 on the computer based test, 71 on the ibT, or 530 on the paper based test.
- An affidavit of payment of all expenses, educational and personal, signed by the person (sponsor) who will be responsible for the expenses. The affidavit must be signed in the presence of an official or notary public and must have a raised seal.
- Official supporting statement from a bank, signed and certified with a raised seal, stating the sponsor is able to meet the required expenses
- Transfer applicants must submit an official transcript (including official signature and seal) from each college or university attended
