Coming up is the Back to the Bible Reading Marathon!
In celebration of the arrival of the 10 Commandments Scrolls to the Museum Center and in the recognition of the unique role that faith has played in our community, nation and world as a whole, The Center for Interfaith Community Engagement is honored to invite you to be a part of our Back to the Bible Reading Marathon this year!
Back to the Bible is a public reading of the Bible, involving both the Xavier and Cincinnati community, during which the entire Old Testament will be read aloud by members from each of the two communities. The goal of the program is to have the words of the Bible heard aloud night and day and in the languages of the world community. The event is expected to last about 60-65 hours and will run all through the day and night inside the GSC Clocktower Lounge from April 9th, 2013 at 10:30am until April 11th at 3:00pm (tentatively).
We are asking volunteers to sign-up to read publicly for 15 minutes in the language of their choice and from the Bible of their choice.
Please use the following link to sign-up: https://
Please feel free to encourage students, members of your family, friends and staff to sign-up and read as well.
