Breaking the Silence: Wall of Expression
On January 18, 2011 Xavier's Interfaith Community Engagement put a wall up in Gallagher Student Center. About 190 students came and wrote on the wall, the hurtful statements and comments that were addressed to them. After they wrote on the wall they gathered outside of the Gallagher Student Center to burn the wall, symbolizing their support for a community free of predjudice, discrimination and bigotry.
