Xavier Hockey heads to North CarolinaThe Xavier Ice Hockey team travels to Charlotte, NC this weekend to take part in the Charlotte Shootout this weekend. The team lost to Virginia Commonwealth on Friday night, 4-3, but rebounded to defeat The Citadel 9-1 Saturday morning. The Musketeers will face off against Appalachian State Saturday night. Xavier responds after loss, finishes weekend 2-1The Musketeers responded to a 6-5 loss Saturday night at the hands of the Big Red of Denison with a 9-3 blow out win on Sunday afternoon over the same team from DU. With these two games, and the win over EKU, Xavier finished the weekend with two wins and one loss. Xavier travels to Flint, Michigan next weekend for a two game series with UM-Flint. Xavier Stayes Undefeated Against Divion 2 Opponents!The Xavier Ice Hockey team defeated Eastern Kentucky University 5 to 3 on Friday night to stay undefeated against ACHA Division 2 opponents. The next DII opponent the Musketeers will face will be Cincinnati on Sunday, November 1 at SportsPlus at 7pm.
