Human Resource Development
Human Resource Development (HRD) is the integrated use of training, organizational development, and career development efforts to improve individual, group, and organizational effectiveness.
1 Career development
Xavier's executive human resource development program is designed to develop ethical, competent professional leaders who can perform effectively in critical HRD roles, such as administrator of HRD programs, training manager or director, instructor, facilitator, trainer, management development specialist, organization change agent, program designer, or individual career development advisor.
2 Schedule of classes
By attending classes on 24 weekends over 21 months, the schedule of classes allows busy professionals to earn their degree in two years. Classes are scheduled for Friday night (6:30 -10:00 pm), Saturday (8:00 am - 5:30 pm), and Sunday (8:00 am - Noon).
3 Creative courses
Each course is a combination of short lectures, group activities, discussion, presentations, case studies, exercises, etc. There are frequent breaks, and each professor is used to teaching in this timeframe and with adult students.
4 Comfortable environment
Learn in a collaborative, experientially based environment based on adult learning principles. You will get the opportunity to work closely with a cohort group of students who are your colleagues in the field.
