TELEVISION STUDIO MANAGER

Xavier University is seeking applications for the position of Television Studio Manager at Xavier University. This position will report to the Television Studio Director.

 

Responsibilities of the Studio Manager are maintaining the studio facilities and preparing/scheduling the studio for classes and other production activities. The studio manager is responsible for the administration of the computer lab and other post-production facilities and equipment. Knowledge of broadcast and field operations, studio lighting, audio recording, and digital editing are required of this position. We are looking for a person who can help lead the Television Center in the digital age and has the technical and engineering knowledge to make that happen. The person required for this position must enjoy working in a team environment, and with students.

 

Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media, 3-5 years of work related experience, and you must also be proficient with the following software: (Final Cut Pro or Avid, Pro Tools, Adobe production software.)
