Clinical Faculty Appointment, Full Time
Department of Occupational Therapy
POSITION
12-month clinical faculty position beginning in the 2013 Fall semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primarily teaching supplemented with clinical practice, scholarly activity, and service to the Department, College, and/or Community. Expertise and ability to teach content related to evidence-based adult and geriatric practice; additional teaching may relate to theory and/or service learning.
DEPARTMENT
The Department of Occupational Therapy is located in the College of Social Sciences, Health, and Education. It is one of several health-related programs including Nursing and Health Services Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree preferred; will consider an advanced degree in process. Current NBCOT certification and state of Ohio licensure or eligibility for both required. Additional requirements include advanced clinical experience, proficiency in use of technology, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Successful candidates must exhibit evidence of teaching effectiveness and the ability to work as a team-player to promote quality operations of the Department. Candidates with academic experience are preferred.
SALARY
Competitive, commensurate with experience.
