Professional Development

One of Xavier’s strategic pillars is to “Develop the People of Xavier”; this includes thoughtful opportunities for professional development for all employees. The University adopted the following competency model and currently offer the following professional development programs administered by the Office of Human Resources.

Leadership Academy

The leadership academy is offered to supervisors, department chairs and program managers. This is a nine-month program designed to provide high performing supervisors, department chairs and program managers with a broader and deeper understanding of the myriad of functions performed by offices across the University and challenges faced by higher education in the United States.
