Welcome to your employment at Xavier University. Starting a new job is an exciting experience with a lot of opportunities and challenges. To help you transition smoothly into your new position and introduce you to Xavier University, we have provided information to assist with your transition.
On your first day of employment, you will meet with a staff member in the Office of Human Resources to complete your new hire paperwork. For verification purposes in completing your forms, please bring important Employment Eligibility Documents with you. These documents are required for the completion of the I-9 forms.
You will also receive information from the Office of Human Resources inviting you to attend a New Employee and Benefits Orientation Program which is designed to welcome all new employees and thoroughly acquaint them with policies and information about working at Xavier. This program will also ensure that new employees are properly registered for Payroll and Benefits.
- On-Line Sexual Harassment Training: (log-in to MYXU Portal to access training): Xavier University is committed to providing an environment free from sexual harassment in any form. Every employee is required to complete an on-line sexual harassment training program within 30 days after employment.
- Complete Post Hire Information Form prior to starting employment: Xavier utilizes the Banner Administrative System for our portal and email accounts. If you would like access to these accounts before or on your first day of employment, the Banner Information Request Form should be completed and emailed to email@example.com or faxed to the Office of Human Resources at (513) 745-3644.
