Xavier University, a Catholic university in the Jesuit tradition, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Chemistry at the Assistant Professor level with an emphasis in Biochemistry starting in the Fall of 2013. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. by the time of the appointment (post-doctoral experience is preferred), will teach courses in biochemistry and organic chemistry, and will work with the department to enhance its offerings in biochemistry. The candidate is also expected to conduct productive research within an active undergraduate research program utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation.
