Primary Care

Students can use the Health and Wellness Center for their primary care while they are away from home at Xavier.  We have a fully equipped medical office including four exam rooms, pharmacy and diagnostic lab.

Our primary care physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have many years experience both in private practice and in college health.  Most are Xavier grads!  We have physician hours at the Health and Wellness Center every weekday of the academic year and on-call access at all other times.

Our nurses are well-experienced in dealing with the medical problems and concerns which affect college students and have additional training and certification in College Health.  Often, a consultation with one of our nurses is sufficient to help with many routine student problems.  If the need arises, our physicians are on-call and accessible if a student comes in other than normal doctors hours.
