Xavier University is excited to announce the availability of the 2012-2013 Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan, which is underwritten by Aetna Insurance Company. Information about the plan is contained in the Student Health Insurance Highlights.
Who is eligible?
All full-time undergraduate students (taking at least 12 credit hours) and International students with F-1 and J-1 Visas will be automatically enrolled in and charged for the plan, unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished.
Other Xavier University students who are eligible to purchase the plan on a voluntary basis include:
- Undergraduate students taking 6-11 credit hours
- Graduate students taking 6 or more credit hours who are enrolled in an organized course of study or degree program given by an academic department of the University
- Students taking less than 3 credit hours, but who are either enrolled in an organized course of study or degree program given by an academic department at the University and who are fulfilling a non-coursework requirement of that program
- Spouses and dependent children of Xavier University students who are enrolled in the Plan.
