Bottlebrush Buckeye: opposite, palmately compound, deciduous leaves with 5 to 7 leaflets.  Prickly fruit with a brown nut inside.  Seed inside looks like the eye of a deer so the Native Americans called it a buckeye.  Yellow and Ohio buckeye are native to the Midwest.  The bottlebrush is an ornamental species.
