James E. Hoff, S.J., Academic Quad

The James E. Hoff, S.J., Academic Quad enables Xavier to meet student expectations and learning needs as well as any college or university in the nation. The Hoff Academic Quad is built around two academic-based components, supported by a new central utility plant, and complemented by a new residence complex.

Michael J. Conaton Learning Commons

The Conaton Learning Commons is a high-tech, highly social center for learning outside the classroom serves as a hallmark for Xavier's future, a unique facility within American higher education.

Stephen and Dolores Smith Hall

This new facility better and more fully serves the Williams College of Business, creating the space necessary to more fully develop and enhance partnerships among students, the business community, faculty and staff. This new facility will provide Xavier a world-class, technologically advanced resource.

Residential Complex

More and more, prospective students are recognizing the value of a Xavier education. Despite the difficult economic times, the 2010 freshman class was the second largest in University history. To keep up with the increased demand for housing, the second phase of the To See Great Wonders campaign includes construction of a new residence hall, to be ready for occupancy in August 2011.

A "Green" Tradition Continues

Xavier has a tradition of responsible stewardship of resources, and the new construction continues this legacy. The Hoff Academic Quad is being constructed to meet LEED Silver Certification sustainability standards as set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council. As part of this effort, the University is constructing a new central utility plant to serve the Hoff Academic Quad.
