East Campus is a 32-acre site along Montgomery Road on the eastern edge of campus that offers a wealth of exciting opportunities for future development. East Campus (formerly known as Xavier Square) combines a 20-acre parcel that encompasses the former BASF and Zumbiel Packaging sites, and a 12-acre site that was formerly home to the Norwood Plaza.
The site presents possibilities for a wide range of uses, including housing, retail, office space, and acreage for a hotel, restaurants and entertainment. Ultimately, East Campus could provide many long-awaited amenities and resources, and create a vibrant new entryway to campus.
