Annual Fund
Xavier's Annual Fund provides critical operating revenue for the University. The tradition began in 1953, and it has never been more important than it is right now. Gifts to the Annual Fund not only help keep tuition costs down, but also ensure that the quality of the Xavier educational experience remains at the highest possible level. Moreover, the Annual Fund allows alumni and friends of the University to play a very active role in maintaining and passing on the values and ideals that make Xavier such a special place.
The Annual Fund offers a number of exciting options that allow you to target your gift. Depending on your area of interest and level of giving, you may choose to support:
Transforming Lives
- The Annual Fund allows the University to provide need-based financial aid to students who may not otherwise be able to enjoy the benefits of a Xavier education.
- The Annual Fund makes it possible for the University to recruit and retain the best faculty to teach in our classrooms.
- The Annual Fund allows Xavier to enhance teaching and learning through the acquisition of the latest, most effective technologies.
- The Annual Fund ensures the continuity of Xavier's Jesuit, Catholic tradition by providing students opportunities to engage in service activities—from contributing in leadership
positions on campus to serving others in
communities all over the world.
- The Gap, $16,621, is the difference between what it costs Xavier to educate a full-time student for one year and the average amount paid by each
student. Gifts to the Annual Fund fill this gap.
