Graduate Program Information Session

The Master of Education in Sport Administration (M.Ed.) will develop your leadership skills and prepare you for success in one of today's fastest growing industries.

The Master of Education in Coaching Education & Athlete Development (M.Ed.) offers a unique online cohort program that focuses on the art and science of coaching, and addresses the true purpose of coaching: athlete development.

The Master of Science in Human Resource Development (M.S.) which encompasses the specific areas of training and development, career development, and organizational development.

Master of Arts in Counseling (M.A.) and Licensure opportunies in School Counseling & Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Master of Education (M.Ed.) & Teacher Licensure Programs. Representatives will be available to answer your questions regarding Degree, Licensure and Credential opportunities in Elementary, Administration, Reading, Multicultural Literature for Children, Secondary, Special and Montessori (now also offered in an online format).

The Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies (Ed.D.) offers part-time, evening/weekend classes designed to develop authentic leaders who use their expertise and skills to promote social justice and organizational change. Specializations in educational administration and higher education are currently available to individuals working in business, healthcare, non-profits, and educational settings are encouraged to learn more about this exciting opportunity.

Human Resource Development Information Session

Want to earn a graduate degree in just 21 months without interrupting your career? The HRD program's classes meet 24 weekends over 21 months and begin in August of each year. You start with a group of students with whom you remain throughout the whole program.

Leadership Studies Doctoral Program (Ed.D.) Information Session

Xavier University is pleased to present the Ed.D. in Leadership Studies, one of three doctoral programs offered by Xavier. Graduates of this program will be transformational leaders in all types of profit and non-profit organizations, including education and health care institutions, corporate and community service settings, and governmental agencies. This 60-credit program can be done on a part-time basis for working professionals. Currently, there are specializations in educational leadership, higher education, and a proposed human & organizational learning & development.
Dr. Gail Latta, director of the leadership studies doctoral program, will present and discuss every aspect of the program from application to completion. Current students and other faculty in the program will also be there to answer questions.
The program is designed with flexible scheduling to accommodate professionals from interdisciplinary leadership positions.

MAT Workshop

The MAT Workshop features basic test taking strategies to help improve your overall score. Space is limited to the first 30 people who register. Cost of the workshop is $30.00.

Students will have an opportunity to purchase the Barron's Guide to the Miller's Analogy Test at the workshop for $18.14.

April 20-23, 2015

Off-Site M.Ed. Information Sessions

Xavier provides core M.Ed. classes at five off-site locations in the greater Cincinnati area, plus a complete M.Ed./licensure program in Educational Leadership at Wilmington High School and a complete M.Ed. program in Elementary and Secondary Education at Middletown Fenwick High School.

In addition to the convenience, all classes taken at off-site locations cost $110 less per credit hour than those at Xavier's main campus. Students who complete nine credits of Master of Education courses at the off-site locations are eligible to receive a grant for their last three credit-hour course in the masters degree.
