About Teaching

With acquisitions purchased by Academic Affairs, office of grant services and McDonald Library, Xavier has established a Faculty Resource Collection, located outside the coordinator for grant services and professional development's office in 203 Schmidt Hall. The collection includes reference materials on pedagogy. 

Several universities have created handouts on teaching and posted them on their web sites. In addition, organizations dedicated to university instruction have useful resources on the Internet. We have compiled a list of relevant sources on our Internet Resources page. 

John Stemmer, electronic services librarian for the Xavier Libraries, has compiled a list of Internet resources for using technology in the classroom. The page, Teaching and Educational Technology, is located on the Xavier Libraries page.
