The Eigel Center for Community-Engaged Learning provides the following resource to the Xavier community:

Community Partners Database

Developed by the Eigel Center for Community-Engaged Learning in collaboration with University Communications, the Community Partners Database includes over 190 nonprofit organizations that offer individual volunteer opportunities, service learning experiences, or community based service projects.  Students seeking volunteer opportunities for service or career experience can search through categories and find organizations that match their interests.  Faculty and staff can identify interested community partners for class or service learning projects, as well as identify resources and expertise on issues.

To identify a community partner for a service learning or community service based project, search the database by using the provided categories or enter your own search terms.  Entries provide a brief description of the partner, an active website link, up to date contact information, as well as the proximity of the community partner in relation to Xavier's campus.   Organizations that have partnered with the university are designated as a SL Partner.
