Secondary & Multi-Age Programs

Undergraduate degree/licensure program
In the degree/licensure program, students complete a Liberal Arts Major that correlates with a licensure field* and a Minor in Professional Education.

Master of Education degree/licensure program
In the Master of Education degree/licensure program, graduate students complete the requirements for both teacher licensure* and the Master of Education degree concurrently.

Graduate non-degree licensure program
In the non-degree graduate licensure program, a student will complete components for teacher licensure in one or more licensure areas*. Fast Track

Master of Education degree program (non licensure)
In the Master of Education degree program which does not include the requirements for licensure, a student will complete a 30 credit hour program that consists of a 12 credit hour core, 12 credit hour concentration in secondary education and 6 credit hours of electives. A written comprehensive exam is also required.

* Grades 7-12 licensure areas: Integrated Language Arts, Integrated
  Mathematics, Integrated Social Studies, Physical Sciences, Life Science,
  Chemistry, Physics, Life Science/Physics, and Life Science/Chemistry
  Grade Pre K - 12 licensure areas: Music, Visual Art, French, German, Greek,
  Latin and Spanish
