Master of Education Degree in Secondary Education
Master of Education degree/licensure program
In the Master of Education degree/licensure program, graduate students complete the requirements for licensure as an Adolescent to Young Adult (Grades 7-12) or Multi Age (PreK-12) teacher and the Master of Education degree concurrently.
Master of Education degree program (non licensure)
In a Master of Education degree program which does not include the requirements for licensure, a student will complete a 30 credit hour program that consists of a 12 credit hour core and an 18 credit hour concentration of approved courses for secondary education. A written comprehensive exam and research paper are also required.
