Secondary and Multi-Age Licensure
The Adolescent to Young Adult (Secondary)/Multi Age (Pre K-12) Teacher Education Program, which is based on a foundation of liberal arts education, emphasizes the importance of the individual effort in striving to achieve true educational growth and development. The idea of broad intellectual development is presented, regardless of the area(s) of licensure. The purpose of the Adolescent to Young Adult (Secondary)/Multi Age (Pre K-12) Teacher EducationProgram, is to prepare the student to become a competent, professional beginning secondary or pre K-12 school teacher while meeting State licensure requirements.
