Department of Counseling

Xavier University is proud to offer a program leading to a Masters of Arts degree in school counseling, a professional degree designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a school counselor. The program is also accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Xavier also offers a Master of Arts in community counseling.

Community Counseling

The Master of Arts degree program in community counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).  The degree program is designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a professional clinical counselor.
