Prospective Students
Program Overview
The Department of Economics offers the Bachelor of Arts in Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language & International Economics, both through the College of Arts and Sciences. We also offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in n Economics through the Williams College of Business.
In addition to traditional studies, economics majors:
- Take advantage of internships at leading companies and organizations.
- Join the Xavier Economics Association for a variety of social, vocational and professional meetings throughout the year. Xavier also has a chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society.
- Take part in small group lunches with economics faculty members as well as with the department’s advisory members who are accomplished professionals in the field.
