Distinguished Speaker Series
The Williams College of Business at Xavier University presents the Distinguished Speakers Series, an annual series of presentations by prominent leaders designed to educate, enlighten and inspire.
The series brings top-level business, academic and political leaders to campus to discuss world issues, introduce new ideas, generate discussion and further the educational mission of the college. Additionally, students, faculty, alumni and members of the business community have the opportunity to interact with the speaker at each event. Attendance is free due to PNC sponsorship, however seating is limited and RSVP is required.
We are pleased to host the Distinguished Speakers Series to highlight business leaders and their organizations, as well as provide our students and faculty access to best practices and networking. Please discover for yourself the culture that makes the Williams College of Business a wonderful place for learning.

"Why Don't They Just Get a Job - Leading Our Communities Out of Poverty"
Cincinnat Works was founded in 1996 by Dave and Liane Phillips as their 'second careers'. Using a holistic approach, they assist those in poverty (more than 600 families a year) to find employment and become economically self-sufficient. Their research based program model has won numerous awards and other cities are replicating their design. They sincerely believe that "even the most troubled person could soar if you gave them wings."
This luncheon series will commence again during the fall 2015 semester.
