Description: This 90-minute interactive session will briefly cover some of the basic aspects of the Xavier Blackboard system. Areas to be discussed are: requesting setup of a Blackboard course, advantages Blackboard system can provide for instructors and students, the most commonly used tools and areas within Blackboard, and tips and best practices for using Blackboard both inside and beyond the classroom. This session is intended for instructors who are new Blackboard users, or those who are considering using Blackboard in the future.
