Removing a USB Device
A memory stick or other USB device is considered another drive by the computer it is plugged into.
Here are the steps to remove the device properly.
- Look for the icon with a green arrow in the tray on the bottom right of your Windows desktop.
- Double-click on the icon.
- Choose the device plugged in.
- Typically, this will be the only device in the list
- A memory stick is listed as: USB Mass Storage Device.
- Press the STOP button.
- A second screen will popup. Choose the device again.
- Click okay.
