Videos circulate to all patrons. Borrowing privileges. loan periods and limits vary depending on the patron type. Videos may be placed on hold electronically through XPLORE or over the telephone (513-745-3881). Patrons are reminded to return videos to the Information Resources Center (IRC) rather than placing them in the book drop.
Classroom Use
Faculty, staff and students may schedule a video for use in a particular class, and the due date for faculty may be extended as needed. Patrons are encouraged to contact staff at the circulation desk at least two weeks in advance of their class, as the video they need may be checked out. If necessary, circulation staff will recall videos that are checked out so that they will be available for the scheduled class. Scheduled videos will be placed on hold and the patron will be notified to pick them up.
Reserve Use
Faculty may place videos on reserve according to traditional reserves procedures and options. If necessary, circulation staff will recall videos that are checked out so that they will be available for reserves.
