The library has laptops available for checkout to current Xavier faculty, staff and students. Laptops utilize the library's wireless technology, are battery powered, and must be used only in the library. A limited number of power cords also are available for checkout. All laptops are able to access the Internet and contain Microsoft Office applications.
Inquire about laptop availability at the Information Resources Center (IRC) on the first floor of the library. If a laptop is not functioning properly, please return it to the IRC for assistance.
Laptops circulate for 3 hours. Overdue fines start to accrue at the beginning of the sixth hour at $5 per hour for a maximum of 12 hours ($60). Patrons assume full responsibility for laptops that are checked out to them. Please do not leave laptops unattended. The replacement cost of a lost or stolen laptop is $1,700
