General Information

The library has laptops available for checkout to current Xavier faculty, staff and students. Laptops utilize the library's wireless technology, are battery powered, and must be used only in the library. A limited number of power cords also are available for checkout. All laptops are able to access the Internet and contain Microsoft Office applications.

Inquire about laptop availability at the Connection Center Desk. If a laptop is not functioning properly, please return it to the desk for assistance.

Borrowing Information

Laptops circulate for 3 hours. Overdue fines are $5 per hour after the 3 hours, for a maximum of 12 hours ($60) before you are charged for the replacement. The replacement cost of a lost or stolen laptop is $1,700. Patrons assume full responsibility for laptops that are checked out to them. Please do not leave laptops unattended.
